Yudley is a mobile application based global community and network of musicians, singers and music lovers. It allows musicians to showcase their music and the music lovers can sing or perform on these music to create & share high quality videos called "Yudleys".
Yudley mobile app is available on both iOS and Android mobile platform. Smartphone users can easily download and install the app from the respective App Store or Google Play. Once installed on the Smartphone, User can sign-up for Yudley using any of the following options:
Musicians who want to share their music content with Yudley need to sign-up through our website www.yudley.app To join our community and network you can click “New User” and fill in the required details to sign up. For now, musicians can only sign-up using their email address.
Once successfully signed up on Yudley app, you can create your own “Yudleys” by clicking the create yudley button available on the center of tab bar of Yudley mobile app. First it will show a curated list of musics which have been uploaded by the Yudley community and network of musicians. By selecting any one of these music’s you are able to create your own studio like creation which you can share on third party social sites or messenger such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or WhatsApp, etc.
Only users who have signed-up with Yudley as Musicians via our website www.yudley.app or through our apps are able to upload music.
When you have signed-in as musician through our website www.yudley.app, you’ll be directed to an upload page. Here by dragging and dropping your selected music content will show on the page. You need to name your music accordingly and then click “Submit” to start uploading your music. After uploading the music, our moderation team will check if your content is according to our terms of service & privacy policy and then it will be made available on the Yudley mobile app.
Type of files allowed: wav, mp3, m4a, acc, mp4, etc.
Any music that has been uploaded to Yudley apps & services will remain the property of whoever created or owns the rights to them and also by uploading music on Yudley, they guarantee Yudley that they own the rights to these music and they agree to our terms of service and privacy policy.
Yudley does not have any ownership in the uploaded music and recorded contents. Uploading music content does grant Yudley the right to host, showcase, play, edit, modify, re-mix, share and distribute or offer that music to Yudley users to recreate, re-mix, record over and perform to create short videos called “Yudleys”. These Yudleys are then hosted and played on Yudley Apps from where they can be downloaded or can be shared and distributed on third party social platforms or messengers like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Whatsapp, etc.
By singing-up through our mobile app, you can create your own Yudley by clicking the centre button on tab bar. This will show you list of music available on Yudley by their respective musicians. Here you can see a curated list as well as search to filter or find the music you want. After selecting the music, you will be taken to record screen. By clicking the red microphone button will start the recording and on bottom a timeline will show the recorded time accordingly. You can always toggle between record and stop buttons as per your wish. After finishing your recording you can either re-record by clicking the retake button or preview what you have already recorded. On clicking preview button, you’ll be able to see what you have recorded. Here you can try and add voice and video filters as per your choice. When you are satisfied with your recording you can click the done button to go to submit screen. Here you can change the profile photo of that recording, add a title name, add description about it and also you can mark whether you allow sharing it on Yudley. After you click Submit, the Yudley will be checked by our moderation team to make sure it follows our terms of service & privacy policy. Once approved, your created Yudley will be available on the Yudley app for Yudley users who can view, play and share Yudley on third party social platforms or messengers like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Whatsapp, etc.
Yudleys that have been approved by our moderation team will show up on the Yudley mobile app. Each Yudley has a share button which can be used to share it on third party social sites or messenger such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc.
You can like and/or comment on a yudley by clicking the respective like and/or comment button on our Yudley mobile app. You will be able to see the list of users who have liked and users with their comments who have commented.
Just by clicking anywhere towards the centre of the playing Yudley will pause it and will show a “Play” button. To play it again, just click the “Play” button.
Playing Yudley can be muted by clicking on the mute button placed at the left bottom of the app home screen. By clicking the unmute button it will unmute.
Any content that is created on Yudley app (called yudleys) are co-owned by the respective user(s) who created / performed / recorded / edited and the respective content provider. If multiple people collaborated to create content on Yudley app then the resulting yudley is collectively owned by all of them and the respective content provider. By creating yudley on our Yudley app, content creators guarantee Yudley that they agree to our terms of service and privacy policy.
Generally we try to allow newly created yudleys to show as soon as possible, but due to moderation it may take some time to show up on the Yudley app. Moderation is necessary to make sure contents don’t violate any of our terms of service and privacy policy.
